Portsmouth is the only university to offer Connected Degrees: a three-year course with an optional flexible fourth-year placement, available on most courses.

This gives students more time to explore career options, secure the right placement and stay connected with friends, before moving smoothly into professional life with full university support.

Portsmouth’s campus is woven into the heart of the city, where learning spaces, the library, sports facilities and halls sit alongside shops, bars, restaurants, cafés and venues like the Victorian New Theatre Royal and Grade II listed Guildhall. It’s always buzzing, yet beaches, green spaces and sea views are only a short walk away.

The campus is evolving too – from advanced facilities such as the Future Technology Centre and Motion Capture Studios to the sustainable Ravelin Sports Centre set in a community orchard. A £250 million masterplan means new experiences and possibilities will continue to develop throughout your studies.
