FdA/BTh Theology, Mission and Practice is designed to develop your skills and knowledge for a variety of Christian professions that require a deep understanding of theology and applied practice. This course combines academic rigour with hands on ministry experience, enabling you to integrate theological study with real world impact in church and community settings.
Taught by a diverse team of experienced Christian leaders and scholars, the programme emphasises theology that is practical, applied and transformative. Through reflective study, placements and community engagement, you will grow in confidence and develop the knowledge and skills to pursue vocations in pastoral ministry, chaplaincy, missional leadership, religious education and other roles where theological insight informs professional practice. What you’ll study
You’ll build a solid foundation in biblical studies, Christian theology and mission practice, while gaining professional skills valued across church leadership, chaplaincy, education and community development sectors, including theological reflection, biblical interpretation, historical understanding, pastoral awareness, leadership development and applied ministry skills.

• Online teaching on Tuesday evenings and in person Saturday study days on campus
• Small group discussions, debates and collaborative projects
