Many of our academic staff are advisers to governments and world-renowned organisations. <br/><br/>• You’ll have the option to take one of our award-winning Professional Training placements that will prepare you for work in city finance roles. <br/><br/>**What you will study**<br/>On our BSc (Hons) Economics and Finance course, you will study how the business and finance sectors operate, as well as their role in modern economic and financial systems. Upon completion of the programme, you will have developed essential skills and tools to understand and analyse these systems. <br/><br/>This course is developed around a framework of core economics and quantitative principles. You’ll learn a strong set of analytical skills that are highly relevant to the world of finance. <br/><br/>You will also develop analytical, problem-solving and critical thinking skills, as well as proficiency in quantitative and data analysis. The course will also help you to improve your written and oral presentation skills.
