The events industry is integral to cities, regions and countries and our BSc International Event Management course will enable you to develop specialised skills and knowledge in the thriving events sector alongside a foundation in business management.<br/><br/>Our BSc International Event Management **(with Foundation Year)** course examines large¬ and small-scale events, providing you with a wide range of event-management skills and experience including planning a real event and obtaining an industry recognised events safety passport qualification.<br/><br/>We have industry partners who help us deliver our modules, allowing you to draw upon their wealth of experience in business, and we provide the opportunity to study and become engaged with numerous events that take place throughout the year.<br/><br/>Our Professional Training placements offer you the opportunity to look beyond the UK and consider events on an international scale. You will benefit from our location in the thriving economy of the south east, as well as our close proximity to London.<br/><br/>We’re always looking to make it easier to access the education we offer, so we have launched the option of taking a degree with a foundation year.<br/><br/>A foundation year is an extra year of study at the start of your course that leads in to a full degree programme. It’s a great option if:<br/><br/>• You don’t have the grades for a full degree course<br/>• You have non-traditional qualifications or experience<br/>• You’re starting university after some time away from education<br/>• You’re looking for more support during the transition into university study.<br/><br/>During a foundation year you’ll learn about your chosen subject, develop your study skills and get used to university life.
