Our research unites different scientific disciplines. This allows us to combine approaches and technologies for the benefit of society.<br/><br/>Studying with us, you’ll learn from experts in:<br/><br/><br/>- Sussex Neuroscience, which is one of the largest and most interconnected neuroscience communities in the UK with over 50 research groups on campus<br/><br/><br/>- the School of Psychology, which is one of the UK’s largest schools of psychology with passionate academics in a wide range of areas.<br/><br/><br/>On this course, you’ll:<br/><br/><br/>- gain an understanding of biological systems and psychology, from molecular biology and cell biology, to social psychology and cognition<br/><br/><br/>- investigate molecular and cellular neuroscience, systems neuroscience, computational neuroscience, disorders of the nervous system and clinical psychology<br/><br/><br/>- put your skills and knowledge into practice by joining one of our leading research teams and investigating major research questions.<br/><br/><br/>Our range of options offers you the opportunity to tailor your course to your interests and career plans

Access to HE DiplomaPass Diploma with at least 39 level 3 credits at Merit or above including 21-24 credits at Distinction. The Access to HE Diploma will need to contain substantial amounts of Level 3 credits in biology related science subjects. You will normally need GCSE (or equivalent) Mathematics and two Science subjects with grade 5 in each (or grade B). International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme30 32 This score should be from the full IB Diploma. Higher Levels must include Biology with a grade of 5. Pearson BTEC Level 3 National Extended Diploma (first teaching from September 2016)DDD DDM The BTEC Level 3 National Extended Diploma would normally need to be in Applied Science need to be in Applied Science and you will need to have opted for substantial numbers of modules please see the University website for more information. You will normally need GCSE (or equivalent) Mathematics and two Science subjects with grade 5 in each (or grade B). Extended ProjectWe take the EPQ into account when considering your application and it can be useful in the summer when your results are released if you have narrowly missed the conditions of your offer. We do not routinely include the EPQ in the conditions of your offer but we sometimes offer alternative conditions that include the EPQ.
