This well-established MA will equip you with the critical and intellectual tools to question, analyse and pursue research across the vast range of media and cultural forms. You’ll take an interdisciplinary cultural studies approach to understand the media in all their complexity as institutions, texts and systems of representation in local, national and global contexts.

You’ll be taught by passionate experts, engaging with current theoretical debates to explore and critique the media’s political, social and cultural power in everyday life and the public sphere. You’ll:
