This MSc provides significant technical content which will develop students skills in the Data Science area.<br/><br/>In recent years, major organisations have made significant investments into data warehousing and data mining technologies which are now at the forefront of business intelligence.<br/><br/>The price of the technology has also reduced significantly since the inception of data warehousing, allowing smaller organisations to gain a competitive advantage by utilising the large pool of transactional data that in some cases has been stored for many years.<br/><br/>This is an area of huge job growth, with a need for a large number of people with the skills to apply and manage the technology.<br/><br/>You will learn to use databases and analytical tools to identify trends, patterns and correlations in data.
