Other, Year 2

(3.8)·By Grace B·Other· Oct 2018
My time at Warwickshire college has been challenging but fun. I've learnt a lot of new things which will help me in the future with the career I want to go into. The teaching is great and I've met loads of new people who are really friendly. At Warwickshire college I have felt like I have been treated more like an adult than people typically treat you during school and sixth form. My experience was quite scary to begin with but as I got to know more and more people and come more comfortable on the course the nerves went away. The college is setting me up for the future, especially with the careers lessons.

Canine therapy and rehabilitation degree review

(3.5)·By Jordan V·Animal Science· Jun 2023
The last 4 years studying this degree has been different for many reasons, including covid, but studying at Moreton Morrell isn't like attending a 'normal' university, there is help and support at every corner, classes are small, friendly and have a personal feel to them

Animal Science, Year 3

(3)·By Kayleigh B·Veterinary Sciences· Jul 2021
Poor, limited freshers organised Very basic accommodation Facilities are good, large range of animals on the animal welfare unit. Not alot happens on the student union, limited events are organised. Library is large with online and accessible recourses The practical lectures were good and allowed you to get involved with the animals Leamington always feels safe and there a good number of restaurants and shops

Avoid at all costs

(1)·By Audrey T·Drama· Oct 2024
The BA (Hons) Performing Arts course at Rugby College, part of WCG (or WCUC), is absolutely appalling. It’s honestly hard to put into words just how bad this course is. From the disgraceful staff to the complete lack of support, to the shoddy facilities, this is the worst excuse for education I have ever come across.

The staff are not just unprofessional—they are rude, egotistical, and downright nasty. They seem to take pleasure in humiliating and degrading students. Instead of teaching or guiding us, they insult and belittle anyone who dares to ask for help. The atmosphere is so toxic, it's unbelievable. They couldn’t care less about the students’ development or mental health—it’s all about them. Their attitudes are a joke, and they act like they’re doing us a favour just by showing up (when they’re not glued to their phones, that is).

The facilities? A joke. But worse than the facilities is the absolute lack of any proper teaching. We were left to sit around watching YouTube videos in classes, ignored by staff, and expected to teach ourselves. The contact hours are a disgrace, and even when classes do happen (which is rare), they’re a complete waste of time. There’s no structure, no proper lessons, nothing. Timetables don’t get given out until the day before, and classes are cancelled after they’ve already started. It's total chaos.

And don’t even get me started on the performances. The shows are so bad they make school productions look like Broadway. There’s no effort, no creativity, no skill involved. They’re rushed, poorly put together, and embarrassing. It’s clear the teachers don’t care about putting on a good show—they just want to get through it and go home. The standards are non-existent. It’s shameful that this is even allowed to call itself a degree course.

The most shocking part is that they’ll let anyone in. There’s no audition, no interview, no quality control at all. People who failed lower-level courses are allowed to join the degree without any problem. This isn’t a performing arts course; it’s a dumping ground for anyone who’ll pay. No wonder people are leaving constantly—entire year groups have dwindled down to just a few people.

But what’s even worse is the damage it does to the students. There’s no support, no development, nothing. It’s genuinely damaging to be in such a toxic, neglectful environment. They offer zero help for mental health, despite how many students are struggling. And the rude, degrading behaviour from the staff only makes it worse. This isn’t just bad education; it’s damaging, humiliating, and utterly soul-crushing.

I was forced to leave this course, along with several others. We had no choice but to escape to different universities because staying there would have ruined our futures. The fact that so many students dropped out speaks volumes about how bad it is. The course was damaging us, and leaving was the only way to salvage anything.

This course is beyond words—it’s an utter disaster. Avoid it like the plague. If you value your education, your mental health, and your future, do not even think about enrolling here. It’s not just bad, it’s unbelievably awful. Stay far, far away.

Terrible

(1)·By richard t·Engineering· Sep 2024
We signed an apprentice to Mechatronics however the put the apprentice on a MOET course. They did this KNOWINGLY because they did not have an electrical tutor. We have gone right through their complaint process which is to say the least extremely unprofessional and biased, with zero acknowledgement. I would not put an apprentice with them. WCG is a profit making organisation that only cares about money. I am happy to take calls from prospective clients of theirs.
