This course prepares practitioners to work in defined areas of community public health practice, for registration as a Specialist Community Public Health Nurse (SCPHN) Health Visitor.<br/><br/>**Why study BSc/PG Dip Public Health Nurse (Health Visiting) at BU?**<br/><br/><br/>- Specialist Community Public Health Nurses lead and deliver public health services for children, young people and families in the community<br/><br/><br/>- Develop the skills to assess the health needs of individuals, families, and communities within diverse and changing contexts, to enhance health and wellbeing<br/><br/><br/>- You’ll be exposed to the breadth and depth of public health working and demonstrate your ability to participate safely in the practice of Health Visiting<br/><br/><br/>- The course is offered in partnership with 0-19 years Public Health service providers, with theory learning at BU and practice learning supported by a practice supervisor and practice assessors<br/><br/><br/>- There is also a school nursing pathway available. <br/>
