Our integrated Master’s in Artificial Intelligence will provide you with a comprehensive and cutting-edge understanding of AI theory and practice. Designed to address the ever-evolving AI landscape, and with all modules underpinned by safe and trusted AI, youll develop crucial analytical and practical skills, opening doors to a wide range of future-focused careers.<br/><br/>Our programme is structured around AIs core dimensions, including the foundations of AI, data science and Machine Learning. You’ll study reasoning, interactions and autonomous agents including robotics. Youll also gain a deep understanding of the ethics and philosophy of AI and its shifting role in society through exploring the social, legal and professional dimensions.<br/><br/>Throughout your degree, you’ll apply your skillset to tackle complex projects inspired by real-world industry problems. This could involve developing a tech solution for an external company in your third year, and taking part in our programme with Amazon Web Services (AWS) in your fourth year, where you’ll use software to develop a new product for a UK council or charity.<br/><br/>Accreditation<br/><br/>This degree has been accredited by BCS, the Chartered Institute for IT. Accreditation is a mark of assurance that the degree meets the standards set by BCS. An accredited degree entitles you to professional membership of BCS, which is an important part of the criteria for achieving Chartered IT Professional (CITP) status through the Institute. The Access to Higher Education Diploma must be 60 credits in total. Access to Higher Education Diploma with 45 Level 3 credits overall: 42 credits must be from units awarded at Distinction, with 3 at Merit. The Access to Higher Education Diploma must be in a relevant subject - Computing, Mathematics, Science, or similar - and must include at least 15 Level 3 credits in Mathematics awarded at Distinction.
