Our integrated Master’s in Mathematics with a Year in Industry provides a rigorous foundation in advanced mathematical theory and its applications. You’ll develop a well-rounded knowledge of key subdisciplines while having the flexibility to specialise in areas that interest you.<br/><br/>In your first and second years, youll cover core subjects like calculus, algebra, probability, and statistics. From your second year onwards, you can choose to specialise in specific areas or explore a broad range of subjects with extensive options in your fourth year. The course equips you with a highly sought-after skillset, enabling you to apply creative and deductive thinking to a range of exciting careers, including in emerging technologies such as big data and AI.<br/><br/>You will spend your third year gaining valuable work experience with a year-long placement at a UK company before returning to complete your final two years with us. Finding an industry placement will require you to be resourceful and engaged. The Access to Higher Education Diploma must be 60 credits in total. Access to Higher Education Diploma with 45 Level 3 credits overall: 39 credits must be from units awarded at Distinction, with 6 at Merit. The Access to Higher Education Diploma must be in Mathematics with the syllabus containing Pure Mathematics, and must include at least 30 Level 3 credits in Mathematics awarded at Distinction.

IB students studying the new Maths curriculum would be required to study Analysis and Approaches at Higher Level to meet the subject requirement for this programme.

Must include grade D2 and D3 (in any order) in a Principal subject in Mathematics and Further Mathematics (full course). If you are studying the one year Short Course in Further Mathematics, this can be considered instead if you additionally achieve/have achieved a grade 3 in any STEP paper or a Merit in AEA Mathematics. Please note that Global Perspectives is not accepted by King's as one of the Pre-U Principal subjects.
