Course Summary
This course is designed for students who already have an UG Degree and are looking to gain an NMC registered qualification in Adult Nursing. It has been developed in partnership with our NHS trust partners, you will learn the essential nursing skills needed to provided effective care of adult patients.

You will learn in our highly-regarded course is based at the West Stand, at the StoneX stadium, Barnet which was recently part of a £23 million redevelopment. <br/><br/>Our lecturers are experts and active in their field, and who continue to work across a range of clinical settings. Youll become an independent, self-motivated practitioner, able to reflect on your practice and adopt a critical and analytical approach to the care of adult patients. We were recently shortlisted for the Student Nursing Times Awards 2024 ‘Nurse Education Provider of the Year (pre-registration)’. <br/><br/>You will also get £5000 per year to study through the NHS Learning Support Fund (LSF) | NHSBSA. This is a non-means tested grant for nursing students. You can also get more funding such as travel and accommodation expenses during placements, and an exceptional support fund if you are in financial hardship. <br/><br/><strong>What Will You Learn?</strong><br/>You will expand on your knowledge of the following areas: <br/>• Anatomy, physiology and pathophysiology <br/>• Medicine management and drug calculation <br/>• Fundamentals of nursing care and research capabilities.<br/><br/>This course will enable you to be a critical practitioner by utilising reflective practice and evidence-based practice as a catalyst for change and service improvement. You will adopt a critical and analytical approach to care and recognise the challenges of integrating theory with practice and developing theory emergent from practice. You should gain the skills required for autonomous practice, decision-making and team working in health and social care.
