Course Overview - Mathematics MMath

This four-year degree includes an integrated year of Masters-level study. We focus on three core areas – pure mathematics, applied mathematics, and statistics – and you have the flexibility to tailor the combination of these to suit your interests. On this degree, you will select mostly mathematics modules in the later Stages. These include introduction to vector calculus, methods for solving differential equations and enumeration and combinatorics.

If you offer an Extended Project, it will be taken into account as part of your application profile, but we will not usually include it in offer conditions for this degree programme.

AAB including grade A in Mathematics OR ABB including grade A in Mathematics AND one A level from: Further Maths, Biology, Chemistry, English Literature, Geography, History, Physics and Modern/Classical Languages or grade 2 in any STEP paper. We do not accept General Studies and Critical Thinking as one of the three A level grades. Equivalent grades will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
