Our graduates are enjoying roles in renewable energy, developing new solar cells and wind turbines, they are protecting our cars from degradation and improving fuel efficiency through the development of lightweight materials. A number of graduates have pursued a career with top aerospace companies where their skills in materials properties and failure analysis are invaluable when pushing jet engines to the limits. <br/><br/>You will meet representatives from the more than 40 companies, including Rolls Royce, Tata Steel, BASF, NSG Airbus, Timet and GE, who support us through guest lectures, funded placements, PhDs, career guidance as well as providing us advice on what needs to be included in the degree. <br/><br/>**We guarantee that you will be made a conditional offer for a course at Swansea University. Plus 4 at Higher Level or 5 at Standard Level English Language. Pearson BTEC Level 3 National Extended Diploma (first teaching from September 2016)D*D*D* To include B at A Level Mathematics. Must be in relevant subject. If student is not taking A Level Mathematics, they must achieve a minimum D in ‘Mathematics for Technicians’ and D in ‘Further Mathematics for Technicians’ modules of the BTEC. Students are also required to have minimum two A grades at GCSE, to include a minimum grade B in Mathematics and two other Science subjects. Extended ProjectWe recognise the EPQ as an excellent indicator of success.
