This course is approved by the General Osteopathic Council, enabling you to register to apply for practice on graduation. We have an excellent reputation, being 1st in the UK for Complementary Medicine (Complete University Guide 2024<br/><br/>Our state-of-the-art facilities include a multi-disciplinary osteopathic clinic at the award-winning Health and Wellbeing Academy staffed by associate staff members who are qualified, practising osteopaths. This gives you a safe, supervised environment to build your skills and confidence as you put your theoretical knowledge into practice.<br/><br/>We have a unique agreement with Abertawe Bro Morgannwg University Health Board that gives you the opportunity to work in an integrated NHS setting off-campus in your final year.<br/><br/>You will also study modules on business development if you are planning to set up your own practice.<br/><br/>You will start weekly clinical placements in your first year, beginning with observational visits and building to autonomous practice in your final year. <br/><br/>Being based in the School of Health and Social Care, Wales’s largest provider of healthcare education, you will be immersed in a dynamic research and learning environment.
