Chemistry MSc

This twelve-month MSc in Chemistry is designed to prepare students for doctoral research to broaden their expertise and research experience across core and advanced areas of chemistry. The programme combines:<br/><br/><br/>• Six taught modules (90 credits) covering foundational and specialist topics in chemistry.<br/><br/><br/><br/>• A substantial research project (90 credits) embedded within one of our world-leading research groups, providing hands-on experience in cutting-edge laboratories.<br/><br/><br/><br/>In Semester 1, you will study core and advanced topics that underpin all areas of chemistry. In Semester 2, you can tailor your learning by selecting three advanced optional modules that align with your interests and career goals. The programme culminates in a major research project, enabling you to contribute to innovative research within the Department of Chemistry.
