Business Studies / Management, Graduate

Freshers week was very busy and lively however not many courses had started by then so not much studying was required They have very clean and modern accommodations. Local supermarkets and take always available upon request The uni was under construction, most facilities were available and new at the campus I was in, they had very good student union voice who would pick up any faults. The canteen had a variation menu and was suited for all diets. I enjoyed my course because I was looking for a career in this field. My lectures were never boring and always informative. The uni was located in west London so wasn't very busy like central London would be. We had great restaurants and bars to visit with good student discounts

Very fun. Lots of things to do and plenty of opportunities to meet new people and make new friends. Information about freshers week was widely available on the student union websites and social media! Very close to the university. Lots of different types of accommodation available. Easy to find out information about accommodation. Good pricing. Library is well set out. Classrooms are spacious and great views of the city. Student union is readily available and more than willing to support you. Course is very informative and just as expected. Lectures are well planned and very interactive. Busy. Easy to get to from university.

There were plenty of activities and events planned. The community at the university is so welcoming and always listens to the choices of students. I didn't stay in university accommodation. But I did visit them and they looked great. The facilities are well equipped. The space is enough and caters to all group sizes. The lectures ensured you were helped when needed. The course was interesting and the variety in the assessments were great too. City life was great, because that's mostly where I spend my time.

Marketing, Graduate

Packed full of fun activities and different social groups to choose from. Lots of help from students and lectures. Day and night activities available too. Lots of rooms available. Shuttle bus provided which takes you to and from campus to accommodations. Also free. Great! Loved the library, which was divided into three floors depending on group study or independent. Fully equipped rooms for the media students, e.g. 3D printing, photography room, radio room etc. Student union held plenty of events and we had our own bar area. Lecturers were great and helpful. They were there every step of the way and provided so much industry experience and knowledge. The course was fun and very practical based. We often visited agencies and pitched to industry people, which is great for industry experience. Busy and hectic. London is packed full of things to do and it's definitely a city which keeps you entertained and busy.

Psychology / Criminology, Year 3

It was great! We had a whole bunch of options of activities to choose from, there were meet and greets, team mornings and student ambassadors around the university to show us the way around! I've had friends who stayed in the accommodation who loved it and didn't want to leave! The prices are affordable and they have security on site, also it's only a step away from the campus The library is basically brand new with loads of computers macs and group rooms that you can book for extra comfort during studies. The student union has always been helpful if you have any concerns or you just want to chill. There's also a brand new sports hall to take advantage off The course is very versatile and has many outlets for work and further study. It's designed in a way to help you learn and keep you interested in the content It's London! Buzzing night life, cafes and bars and cute restaurants round every corner, I loved it! Whether you're outgoing or an introvert there's something for everyone

Tourism / Transport / Travel, Year 2

I really enjoyed it, it helped me make so many new friends when I was so anxious to start uni, afraid people won't like me. I felt very settled! The accommodation is great (the layout) and the lifts and everything is very clear so I don't feel anxious or claustrophobic at all! The overall interior looks good too. The 3 libraries are my favourite because it lets me decide on which mood I am inc depending on noisy group work, independent work or silent study time. It's really great for me, mentally, in terms of studying. The lectures are very entertaining, informative and educating. The course is beneficial since 1 in 10 jobs are in relation to tourism! City life is great, because it brings that sense of togetherness and unity. City life makes me drown out my negative mental thoughts and makes me aware that I'm not alone. I have people around me to talk to, in a big city.

Law, Year 2

I traveled a few hundred miles to attend my uni, my admission officers were helpful and enthusiastic about me joining the uni. I had a warm and welcoming I knew I had made the right choice. That welcome motivated me to become a student Ambassador because I wanted students to feel the same way I did. My class had an issue they listened and made changes. The best experiences came outside the classroom, making friends through societies & SU activities. From football matches to camping trips to parties in the uni to debating in the bar to trips to Italy. I don't think I could have had a better Year 1 experience.
