Finance with Risk Management MSc

Develop in-depth knowledge of finance and risk management theory and learn how to apply it in practice. This MSc prepares you for careers across finance, risk management and related fields. You'll learn to analyse financial decisions and the motivations behind them while developing the technical and practical skills employers value, including programming, financial modelling and FinTech applications.

You can tailor the course to your strengths and career ambitions by selecting three optional units from a range of finance and risk management topics. This flexibility allows you to customise the degree to suit your interests and career goals.

In the summer, you can choose to complete either:

* a dissertation through an academic or applied research project, or

* a summer internship.

Employability and careers:

Among University of Bath MSc Finance course graduates from the class of 2024 whose destinations were known, 79% were employed six months after completing their course and 60% were working in the UK. Employed graduates had an average salary of £37,000, with the highest reported salary being £140,000.
