You will have full access to both institutions and the resources and opportunities.<br/><br/>This collaboration gives your degree the depth of our traditional knowledge, and the expertise of Al-Maktoum in Islamic banking and finance and Islamic studies.<br/><br/>You will study a combination of four core Islamic Finance modules and three AI-focused modules.<br/><br/>The Islamic Finance modules provide a deep understanding of:<br/><br/><br/>• Islamic moral economy<br/><br/><br/><br/>- business ethics<br/><br/><br/>• Shari’ah-compliant financial instruments<br/><br/><br/><br/>- prototyping for Islamic financial products<br/><br/><br/>In the AI modules you will explore:<br/><br/><br/>- how generative AI can drive business analytics<br/><br/><br/>- the societal impacts of AI<br/><br/><br/>- its role in corporate innovation, global business strategy<br/><br/><br/>- achieving the UN Sustainable Development Goals<br/><br/><br/>This Masters degree is a unique mix of Islamic Finance and Artificial Intelligence. You will graduate with a stand-out qualification in a cutting edge area of industry.<br/><br/>You will build practical insights and theoretical foundations in both areas. You will be able to blend them together, and go on to make a meaningful impact in finance and beyond.<br/><br/>An optional internship is available on this programme, which gives you the opportunity to gain real world work experience while you complete the programme.<br/>The Internship takes place over 8-weeks in the summer, and is completed abroad, or can be done online from home.
