Nursing experience

(5)·By Anisah B·Nursing· Jun 2024
In general, I enjoy the nursing content that is covered. We learn about anatomy and physiology of the human body in year one, and medication knowledge and specific infections/diseases in year two. There are a lot of skills that I've gained in this course that I am able to take away and apply to my own life. I mostly enjoy placement as this gives me the chance to put what I've learned into practice. I love it as a whole. I would recommend this course to anyone who really loves to be hands-on and enjoys being social.

University of Huddersfield is one of the best universities in the UK. It has a peaceful and nice environment. The town is diverse in terms of culture. The lecturers are also helpful. The university library is very modern and a quiet place to study.

Review of Huddersfield university

(5)·By Elisse R·Law· Jun 2024
The course was amazing, I learned the skills needed to secure a training contract. The lecturers were always helpful. The accommodation was really nice and conveniently located a 5-minute walk from campus and a 15-minute walk into town.

Sociology, Year 2

(5)·By Melissa S·Sociology· Jul 2021
The fresher week was really good, the university provided a lot of support and guidance, overall they made starting university very excited and offered a fantastic insight on what they could offer students. I don't stay in the accommodation, but I have stayed with my boyfriend in his, and I would say that the accommodation is nice and suitable for what a student needs. Classrooms are lovely and bright to learn in, the library is huge, and has all the facilities you could imagine, such as meeting rooms, computers everywhere, quiet study spaces, it is a really lovely place to work. Sports areas again are amazing, and the student Union are lovely, always there to help you. The course is interesting, end covers a broad range of topics. The lecturers are always willing to help you or answer any questions. The lectures are engaging and offer reassurance in terms of assignments and deadlines. The City life is really good. There are many shops, and cafes, and the clubs are really good if you want a night out! Everything is very close together and it is very friendly.

Pharmacology / Pharmacy, Graduate

Absolutely amazing. Great community and good vibes. Lots of interaction on campus with lots of leaflets and things to do! Great choice of accommodation, many close to campus and town centre! I lived in three different accommodations and all were good for the price ! 24/7 library which I lived in during my final year with lots of floors differing from silent to quiet floors, also lots of study rooms to book out. Mac computers and laptops to hire also available! Very interacting lectures, lecturers always willing to help. Notes given prior to prepare. Busy! And always something to do considering Leeds and Manchester were only a short distance on the train from Huddersfield !

It went absolutely wonderful, really enjoyed it. From my knowledge it's really easy to apply for an accommodation. They're really understanding. The facilities are really great and I know where everything is so if I want to use that area I know where to go. The entire teaching overall is really good, as the lecturers know their thing. The layout of the timetable is really helpful. City life is great different places to explore everytime I'm at university

Really good they organised lots of different activists. Things such as a mini music festival and lots of fairs to sign up to societies Nice and modern, lots of different options depending on your price range. Very good. Great uni gym and sports hall. Classrooms were all pretty close to tether. Lots of variation. Sometimes they filmed the lectures which was helpful when revising As it is a town it wasn't amazing but definitely good if you find the spots you enjoy. Lots of surrounding areas too that are good
