As a Top-up student, I found the academic support at the University of Huddersfield to be excellent. The lecturers were approachable and always willing to help, especially when I needed guidance on adapting to the new curriculum. The resources provided, such as online materials and library access, were incredibly helpful for completing my final year. The course structure was well-suited for Top-up students, with a good balance between theory and practical application. The modules were relevant to my previous studies, and I appreciated how the university tailored the content to help us bridge the gap and prepare for future careers. One challenge I faced as a Top-up student was the limited time to fully adapt to the new environment and make connections. It would be great if the university could organize more orientation sessions or networking events specifically for Top-up students to help us settle in more quickly.

Overall nice experience

Started Huddersfield as a mature student in 2024. Received lots of support and encouragement. I have good facilities and love the blended learning adult nursing degree; it's good that the course is flexible around my other life commitments. Had this course been available years ago, it would have allowed me to become a registered nurse sooner. I have recommended this course to lots of my nursing friends to allow them to progress on a nursing student journey. :0|)

The University of Huddersfield is a small but high-quality, fast-paced research-focused environment. Easily accessible by buses in the HD1 area. Lectures here are very detailed and industry-relevant. Faculties follow up to ensure that students understand course contents. Unihud is a very multicultural environment with students from all continents. I encourage every aspiring student to apply to the University of Huddersfield.
