This MEng (Hons) degree programme has more depth and breadth than the BEng (Hons) programme in Mechatronics and Robotic Systems, studying core subjects, such as advanced system modelling and control, in more detail and a greater range of subjects.
In addition to the individual final year project, you will also undertake a major group project in the third year.

The Year in China offers undergraduate students the opportunity to spend one year at our joint venture, Xian Jiaotong-Liverpool University (XJTLU), following XJTLUs BA China Studies degree classes. XJTLU is a fully English-speaking university, located in Suzhou. If you wish to study this programme with a Year in China you will have the opportunity to apply after you arrive at Liverpool.

Applicants who offer the Extended Project Qualification (EPQ) and meet our offer criteria will be made the standard offer, plus an alternative offer. This will be at one A Level grade lower plus a grade A in the EPQ, for example the offer would be AAB or ABB plus A in the EPQ.
