Teaching and learning
Students are initially registered as MPhil and required to complete a series of modules in their first year (from a very wide selection of bespoke modules), with assessment including an oral examination component. Upon the successful completion of these modules, students are required to complete a research project before being formally upgraded to PhD student at the end of the first year.
Training will be supplemented with attendance to seminars, cohort building activities, research integrity training and additional transferable skills training.
