Train as a chiropractor and develop expertise in musculoskeletal assessment, diagnosis and a range of treatment techniques through hands-on clinical learning, research-informed teaching and supervised clinical placements, preparing you for registration with the General Chiropractic Council and impactful, patient-centred practice.<br/><br/>This course is recognised by the General Chiropractic Council (GCC), giving you eligibility to apply for registration and practice as a chiropractor in the UK after graduation (subject to GCC requirements). Clinical learning and placements are built into every year of the course. In your final year, you will complete a 12-month, on-site clinical placement, managing your own supervised patient caseload to prepare for autonomous practice.<br/><br/>You study 30-credit modules sequentially in six-week blocks, allowing you to focus on one subject at a time, build competence progressively and receive regular assessment and feedback. You will learn through a variety of engaging and contemporary teaching approaches in well-resourced learning spaces and a fully equipped on-campus chiropractic clinic, supported by chiropractic clinicians who bring valuable experience from patient care, research and education <br/><br/>Lastly, there is emphasis on innovation and research-led learning.
