Course Overview - Materials MPhil
Research areas include metals, polymers, composites, ceramics and adhesives. Biomaterials research, including tissue and cell engineering, orthopaedic implant design, biointerfical science and bio/nano science are performed under the auspices of the well-established Interdisciplinary Research Centre (IRC) in Biomedical Materials. Research throughout the School is coordinated within the following research areas: modelling and simulation in engineering systems; functional nanomaterials; biomedical engineering and materials.
