Chemistry is part of everything in our lives – it’s the key to understanding our world, and this Masters level degree will equip you with the skills and experience for a wide range of exciting and rewarding careers in a variety of industries.
Our four-year MChem degree builds on the three-year BSc Chemistry, offering greater depth in the major topic areas. The distinctive feature of the MChem is a substantial research project embedded in a research group which interacts with the wider research environment and has the potential to result in publishable work.

We recognise the EPQ as an excellent indicator of success. If you are predicted a Grade B or above in the EPQ, you will receive an offer with a one-grade reduction, to include your EPQ with a grade B.
