This full-time MSc brings together the two areas of healthcare leadership and management. The course is designed to help you develop into a professional who can lead change and drive innovation. Youll gain the knowledge and skills to make smart decisions in healthcare settings. <br/><br/>By studying our MSc Management and Healthcare Leadership, youll find out what it means to be a leader in a dynamic healthcare world. You will learn: <br/><br/><br/>• How healthcare systems are run<br/><br/><br/><br/>• How to lead people and teams<br/><br/><br/><br/>• How to manage change in complex organisations <br/><br/><br/><br/>Youll also study the core principles of business management. You will learn how these skills apply to the healthcare sector.<br/><br/>This MSc responds directly to the international demand for healthcare leaders and managers. It will prepare you to lead real change across systems that matter the most. <br/><br/>The course combines rigorous business education with sector-specific leadership training. This will prepare you for management and leadership roles within healthcare systems across the world. <br/><br/>You’ll be taught by staff from both the School of Health Sciences and the School of Business. This will give you the opportunity to learn from experts across both areas.<br/><br/>You’ll begin with the core business modules, delivered by the School of Business. These cover the essential foundations of organisational leadership: <br/><br/><br/>• Operations Management and Change<br/><br/><br/><br/>• Strategic Management and Organisational Analysis<br/><br/><br/><br/>• Marketing Management and Strategy<br/><br/><br/><br/>• Managing People and Organisations<br/><br/><br/><br/>• Management Project Report <br/><br/><br/><br/>You’ll then build on this foundation with four dedicated healthcare leadership modules. These are taught by the School of Health Sciences: <br/><br/><br/>• Global Healthcare Leadership<br/><br/><br/><br/>• Leadership in Healthcare Organisations<br/><br/><br/><br/>• Leading Innovation and Change in Healthcare Organisations<br/><br/><br/><br/>• Developing Leadership Skills for Healthcare <br/><br/><br/><br/>This structured, fixed-pathway means every student receives a consistent and integrated education. <br/><br/>You will also undertake a Management Project Report.
