Combining theory and practice, our Master’s programme builds on your existing life experience and graduate attributes, enabling you to qualify as a Mental Health Nurse in just two years. <br/><br/>Here at UEA, you’ll explore all aspects of nursing, gaining experience in a variety of settings while working alongside other health and social care professionals. Our MSc in Mental Health Nursing has the NHS Constitution at its core and will offer you both excitement and challenge, as well as rigorous training. You’ll develop into a nurse who’s not only committed but is also able to deliver the highest quality of person-centred care. <br/><br/>Informed by the four pillars of Advanced Practice, you’ll be exposed to theoretical and practice-based learning addressing themes of Clinical Practice, Research, Education and Leadership. This varied course entails learning in a university setting, independent online learning, self-directed study, simulated practice, and placements in a variety of health and social care settings. <br/><br/>Placement opportunities will be provided across the two years of the programme, and you’ll undertake professionally supervised placements in a wide variety of care settings. Working closely with service users, placements will provide a fantastic opportunity for you to apply and develop your knowledge and skills in a clinical environment.
