<strong>What is special about this course?</strong><br/>If you would like the unique opportunity to study Scottish heritage and explore the lived experiences of Scotlands communities then study with us - the only university at the heart of the Highlands of Scotland.<br/><br/>This fully online, interdisciplinary taught postgraduate course is delivered by world-leading experts in their fields and you will be supported throughout by this enthusiastic teaching team.<br/><br/>The course has been developed to attract Scottish, UK and overseas student of Scottish descent or with an interest in Scotland, and those who have businesses with a Scottish theme. <br/><br/><strong>Special features</strong><br/>◾You will be taught by international experts in their fields, including the team at the Institute for Northern Studies<br/>◾The module content is unique - it is interdisciplinary and is delivered to you from the heart of the communities who created the heritage<br/>◾You can explore your own heritage and interests through field and project work, with unparalleled access to resources and communities across Scotland<br/>◾You will study completely online through the university’s virtual learning environment (VLE), which means you can fit your studies around your personal and professional commitments<br/>◾Individual modules can be studied for personal or professional development<br/><br/><strong>How long will my course last?</strong><br/>◾Full-time: 1 year @ 20 hours per week<br/>◾Part-time (structured): 2 years @ 10 hours per week<br/>◾Part-time (unstructured): maximum of 6 years<br/><br/>The number of hours per week indicates the total number of hours you should dedicate to the course, which includes time spent in lectures and your own time spent on individual study and research.
