Access to HE Diploma

128 UCAS Tariff points from a QAA approved Engineering or Science subject required. Other subjects considered on a case-by-case basis.

International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme

31 points overall, including Grade 5 in Higher Level Maths and Physics (or a numerate Science). Must have passed the full International Baccalaureate to be considered.

Pearson BTEC Level 3 National Extended Diploma (first teaching from September 2016)

DDM

Grade DDM required from Engineering or Applied Science. Not accepted: Electrical Engineering, Aviation Operations

Leaving Certificate - Higher Level (Ireland) (first awarded in 2017)

Two Higher Levels required, including Maths and a Numerate Science

In addition to Level 3 requirements, you must have evidence of Level 2 GCSE English and Maths at Grade C/4 or above.
