For entry into Year 2 which is the normal point of entry: AABB at Higher (Chemistry A, Biology/Human Biology A, Maths/Application of Maths B, English B) and BB at Advanced Higher (Chemistry is essential with Biology preferred; Physics and Maths can be considered as an alternative to Biology). Two Advanced Highers are required for Year 2 entry, which is the normal entry point. English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) or Geography or Modern Studies or History will be considered in place of Higher English B. Entry into Year 1 may be considered for applicants unable to sit Advanced Highers in S6 e.g. due to geographical reasons.
