Counselling and Psychotherapy (Including Foundation Entry)

This course provides a foundation of essential knowledge of theoretical and practical skills which enables students to progress into careers within Health and Social Care and beyond. This is an interesting and stimulating course which provides students with the opportunity to develop their understanding of professional practice.<br/><br/>The course will provide students the opportunity to learn more about a range of topics including; roles, responsibilities and professionalism, professional boundaries, communication, anatomy, physiology, pathology and disease along with measuring health and wellbeing. Study skills, such as academic writing and accessing research, are an integral aspect of the course in order to provide students with the foundations needed for further study.
