Biomedical Science is vital for the clinical diagnosis of disease and accurate treatment of patients and the operation of the NHS and other health-related industries.

We combine a hospital-based placement with academic study, so youll gain the knowledge and practical skills needed in cellular pathology,clinical biochemistry, haematology and clinical microbiology.

Accredited by the Institute of Biomedical Science (IBMS) and approved by the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC), the course includes a work-based placement in Scottish NHS hospitals.
