It’s also one of the most rewarding, challenging and respected areas of study you can pursue. <br/><br/>By studying law, you will develop skills in abstract thinking, critical analysis and practical problem-solving. By progressing these essential skills, there will be a broad range of exciting career possibilities available to you once you graduate. <br/><br/>This foundation year helps you prepare for the LLB if you don’t have traditional academic qualifications. During the year, you’ll get an introduction to law and how it applies across society. You’ll also develop the academic and study skills you need to complete a university degree. <br/><br/>**Enter the legal profession**<br/>This is the first step on your journey to becoming a legal professional. It will give you a solid grounding in law that you’ll build on during the three or four years of your LLB. <br/><br/>If you want to train as a barrister or solicitor, you’ll need to complete additional vocational qualifications after you graduate with your full degree. <br/><br/>**Learn from professionals**<br/>Our staff are practising legal professionals and experienced legal scholars. They’ll share their experience with you on this course and your full LLB. <br/><br/>During your full degree, you’ll be able to take advantage of our extensive industry connections.
