You’ll take a compulsory module on biomedical engineering in urology, covering surgical instrumentation, imaging and diagnostics, tissue engineering, catheters, pads and implantable devices and materials. This will be followed by a compulsory module on ethics and regulatory affairs.<br/><br/>The rest of your programme is determined by the specialism you choose. Youll have the option to choose modules in areas such as electronics, medical robotics, nanotechnology and nanomedicine, sensors and clinical measurements and more.<br/><br/>Your research project forms a major part of your degree. It provides you with an excellent opportunity to take part in internationally-leading research within the School of Engineering and Materials Science, using our excellent facilities.
