Complex issues such as climate change, sea level rise and environmental pollution can only be fully understood if all the different facets of the earth’s behaviour are considered. While the ocean sciences deal with present day and future climate change scenarios, the link to physical geography provides an understanding of changes in climate over the last several thousand years to provide context for recent climate change. Two science subjects at A level. Acceptable Science subjects: Mathematics, Further Maths, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Geology, Geography, Applied Science. For applicants from England: Where a science has been taken at A level (Chemistry, Biology or Physics), a pass in the Science practical of each subject will be required.

Applicants who offer the Extended Project Qualification (EPQ) and meet our offer criteria will be made the standard offer, plus an alternative offer. This will be at one A Level grade lower plus a grade A in the EPQ, for example the offer would be BBB or BBC plus A in the EPQ.
