**Religion, Worldviews & Spirituality**<br/><br/>This pioneering degree programme invites you to study religious and philosophical understandings of the world through the lens of of ‘Spirituality’. You will examine what it means to speak of people today as having a ‘spiritual but not religious’ identity, as well as delving into practices from different religious traditions. <br/><br/>The course places a holistic emphasis on the human person as it examines the intersections of spirituality and ethics in addressing current issues, such as the ecological challenges faced today. You will be led into philosophical questions about the pursuit of a meaningful life, and consider what can be learned from the ‘wisdom’ of diverse traditions in a pluralist contemporary world. You will look at the diverse forms and experiences of the religious quest in today’s world, with emphasis on understanding the relationship between oral tradition, sacred text, embodied experience in the context of ritual practices, and the attainment of ethical integrity.
