Students on this course will benefit from our superb facilities and resources that are catered for this degree. <br/><br/>The School of Art houses its studios for you to work from, purposely designed rooms for life drawings, exhibitions, print making and MAC suites to name a few. The Department of Theatre, Film and Television is home to 3 HD Camera television studio, gallery with chroma-key and auto cue capability, 30 editing systems, avid media composer, adobe premier pro and final cut software, 50 industry standard HD cameras. <br/><br/>In both departments, you will be taught by experts who are well known in the film production industry as well as our internationally renowned artists, curators and art historians within the School of Art. On campus, we pride ourselves on our close association with the Universitys Arts Centre, which is one of the largest in the UK and a major venue for exhibitions by contemporary artists and designers. Through this strong collaboration, this degree is designed to offer you the training that connects traditional skills with contemporary practice and theory. <br/><br/>Students in our department can exploit our exciting opportunities such as studying abroad under the Erasmus + programme (studying in any of our European partnered Universities in countries such as Turkey, Norway and Germany). We also offer students to take part on several field trips and the destinations in the past have included: Madrid, Paris, Rome Moscow, Lisbon to name a few. <br/><br/>Upon successful completion of this course, you will emerge with real world capabilities and possess the core employability skills enabling you to pursue careers in: Film distribution; Marketing and Public relations; Advertising; Arts Administration to name a few.
