Levels 4, 5 and 6 will be taught from our London location only.” <br/><br/>This foundation course is designed for applicants who do not meet the admissions criteria for the BSc Sport and Exercise Psychology (Honors) degree. You’ll start by completing a foundation year, which provides well-structured support. Following successful completion of the foundation year, you will progress with confidence to the first year of the BSc Sport and Exercise Psychology degree.<br/><br/>This course is accredited with British Psychological Society (BSP) and offers students the opportunity to develop a deeper understanding of psychology and in particular its application to sport, performance and exercise contexts. Through teaching and independent research, students will gain knowledge and skills related to pursuing a career as a psychologist specialising in sport and supporting athlete performance, health and wellbeing. The course develops a strong scientific understanding of the mind, brain, behaviour and experience and the complex interactions between these elements. A key aspect of this course is the opportunity for students to gain hands-on experience. Students will have the opportunity to gain sport and exercise psychology experience on campus and will also have access to a range of exciting opportunities, including completion of specialist short courses, professional certificates and work placements.
