Applied Bioscience MSc

Throughout our course youll develop advanced knowledge and skills in the diverse areas of applied bioscience, emphasising on medical applications. Upon completion youll be able to confidently design, execute and critically analyse both independent and group based scientific research in an appropriate area of applied bioscience.<br/><br/>Youll be immersed in an environment that mirrors a modern laboratory setting and benefit from the expertise of our Biomedical Science team and their intimate knowledge and collaborations within the field of bioscience. Using our purpose-built laboratory facilities, youll be in the heart of our rapidly evolving scientific environment.<br/><br/>Our course is suitable for candidates who wish to specialise in the current medical applications of bioscience such as molecular and cell biology as a progression from a relevant first degree and for candidates with a strong background in ‘traditional’ analytical science (chemistry or biology).
