We are pleased to confirm that Writtle University College and ARU (Anglia Ruskin University) have joined together as of 29 February 2024. Writtle’s full range of Higher and Further Education courses will continue to be delivered on site at the new ARU Writtle campus, enhanced by resources available at nearby ARU Chelmsford If you are starting your course in September 2024, your degree will be awarded by ARU. Find out more about ARU, including our recent Gold rating in the Teaching Excellence Framework, at www.aru.ac.uk<br/><br/>Studying for a degree with an integrated foundation year will offer you a supportive environment if you have been out of education for a few years or do not have the necessary UCAS points from your recent course of study. <br/><br/>The foundation year (Year 0) will precede our standard 3-year degree course programmes and enables preparation for degree study, with successful completion granting direct access to the undergraduate course of your choice at Writtle University College. <br/><br/>If you dream of working with horses, our practical courses are the ideal way to begin your journey into the equine industry. You will enjoy extensive access to all of our facilities at our specialist equine campus and learn alongside industry experts.<br/><br/>The Equine Performance and Business Management programme incorporates the key themes of applied science, development of specialist practical skills, management skills for various enterprises and business skills for all aspects of the equine industry. Students can select to focus their attention more on developing their stud or equitation knowledge. This programme will equip students seeking employment in the diverse equine sector, with a strong grounding in the essential areas relevant to a variety of potential career pathways.
