We’ll encourage you to consider the place of photography in contemporary society, in terms of the production, distribution and consumption of photographic images. Your research and practice will enable you to shape the way that photography is used and interpreted. Contemporary approaches to photography show that this is a fast-expanding visual discipline that holds an important position within creative, social and cultural practices.

We welcome applications from those who want to bring about change in a range of contexts: independent photographic practitioners, documentary photographers, archivists, curators, researchers, writers and educators.
