Currently, these might include the discussions happening around immigration and race, gender identity, and climate change. <br/><br/>Throughout the course, tutors place a strong emphasis on developing high-level communication skills which range from critical thinking to negotiation with others and include progression in your own learning. These are skills that employers value and there are opportunities within the degree to explore <br/>your own career aspirations. <br/><br/>The goal of our English degree is to equip you with the necessary qualities and training to succeed in an increasingly complex and uncertain world.
