The programme is a blend of Animal Behaviour and Wildlife Conservation it aims to give students the key academic and practical skills required for running successful captive breeding programmes.<br/><br/>The programme will ensure that students have the theoretical knowledge and practical skills needed to care for animals in captivity and maintaining natural behaviour.<br/><br/>The aim of this programme is to produce students with a sound academic and practical knowledge of the disciplines and factors that are required to work within the field of animal behaviour as well as conservation. The programme will use a range of animals enabling students to apply the knowledge across species. The conservation and ecology elements will use the college site which is made up of 750 acres and woodland to develop surveying skills and wider employer partners to undertake projects such as The Hedgerow Project.
