It also provides a highly supportive environment where you can develop your self-confidence.** <br/><br/>Our BSc Biomedical Science has been designed to provide you with a broad understanding of the scientific basis of both human health and disease, and to help you learn the critical scientific skills that you need to allow you to succeed in a rapidly changing employment environment. <br/><br/>In our state-of-the-art laboratories you’ll develop the practical skills desired by industry employers and have the chance to undertake specialist training to meet your own individual career aspirations, including an optional placement, internships where available, and volunteer opportunities.<br/><br/>Several medically related disciplines are covered in this course, including anatomy and physiology, histology, genetics, biochemistry and microbiology.
