As a student on this programme, you will join students from diverse academic and professional backgrounds to take an interdisciplinary approach to studying global public health, which will inform your knowledge and understanding about complex factors operating at local, national and international levels affecting the health and wellbeing of the population locally and globally. The course will provide you with:<br/><br/><br/>- comprehensive knowledge, understanding and skills to become an effective global health practitioner to pursue your career in public health practice and research at local, national and international levels;<br/><br/><br/>- the support to develop competencies to work in global public health and health service delivery within the NHS, local government, private and charity organisations, international development sector, academia and the wider health and wellbeing economy;<br/><br/><br/>- opportunities to engage with national and international stakeholders within the school and beyond through academic input, knowledge exchange, implementation and research activities;<br/><br/><br/>- the support to explore and find opportunities for paid or unpaid work, which could be aligned with the work-based learning module on the programme;<br/><br/><br/>- an interdisciplinary learning environment by bringing together graduates from other disciplines and experts from different fields of study and practice;<br/><br/><br/>- opportunities for flexible learning through full-time or part-time study, morning and/or afternoon taught sessions, and face-to-face and blended learning approach.<br/>
