Sport and Leisure Management HNC

This is a university level course (higher education). The course duration is 2 years. In the first year you will complete your HNC and in your second year you will complete your HND.<br/><br/>The course is 2 days per week at college and 1 day or half a day on placement.<br/><br/>You will be able to top this course up at university or with us to achieve a full honours degree.<br/><br/>The purpose of this course is to develop students as professional, self-reflecting individuals, able to meet the demands of employers in the sport sector and adapt to a constantly changing world.<br/><br/>The course is designed to reflect this increasing need for high-quality professional and technical education pathways at Level 4 and 5, thereby providing students with a clear line of sight to employment and to progression to a degree at level 6.<br/><br/>**Course Content**<br/>Mixture of practical and theory based lessons.<br/><br/>Opportunity to complete work placement for 3 hours per week.<br/><br/>Taking part in competitive sport<br/>Coaching roles within community and elite clubs<br/>Marketing roles within organisations<br/>Scouting placements looking at recruitment/talent development<br/>Fitness instructors within local gyms<br/>Operation management roles within sports organisations
