Environmental Resource Management (Level 6 only) BSc (Hons)

This honours degree final year is designed for people with a strong interest in the environment who would like to develop their scientific skills and knowledge base.<br/><br/>You can progress to this one-year programme once you have successfully completed a science-related foundation degree or equivalent qualification.<br/><br/>As part of this programme you will choose optional modules which allow you to specialise in your particular areas of interest choosing from wildlife crime; environmental economics and sustainability; environmental investigation; and environmental strategy and marketing.<br/><br/>You will also design and carry out a research project in which you will investigate specific aspects of the environment. You will study a core module in environmental impact assessment and Geographical Information Systems (GIS).<br/><br/>This programme will also provide you with an insight into the business world and the practices of organisations involved in environmental work.<br/><br/>**Assessment**<br/>The programme is assessed by a mixture of coursework, in-class tests and exams.
