**What will I study?**<br/>During the first year you will to fine-tune your innovative approaches to business management operational systems. You will be able to explore traditional and modern methods of communication, learn how to manage an organisation, and put together a strategic plan. In the second year you will understand the Human Resources function within an organisation and study the marketing mix, and learn how each ‘P’ contributes to the success of a product. Optional modules include employment law or financial accounting, giving you the opportunity to focus on a business specialism, should you wish to peruse a particular career path in the industry.<br/><br/>**What can I do after completing this course?**<br/>Once you have completed the HND you will have a diverse range of transferable skills that will enable you to either; start your career in the industry, or further it with promotion to management level roles, or choose to specialise in a particular business function or role. Otherwise you could continue with your studies and top-up your qualification with the full BSc Honours on our BSc (Hons) Business top-up at the University Centre Hastings.
