Utilising an innovative, community centred approach; our course will equip you with the knowledge and skills required to manage existing businesses or to start your own. <br/><br/>Our business and management degree program will help you to develop a range of leadership and management skills to be able to make a positive impact on organisations. You will learn how to recognise potential opportunities and how to remain adaptable to the needs of the business, both now and in the future. <br/><br/>Entrepreneurial thinking and innovative practice form an integral component of our teaching model, and we work closely with local business partners, to help you develop these skills in using real work scenarios. <br/><br/>As part of the course, you will be joining an ambitious group of potential business managers and entrepreneurs on a journey seeking to bring Cornish business into the foreground. Our course has been designed to facilitate a connected experience within the vibrant local business community.<br/><br/>Students will need to be able to work both independently and collaboratively, and must be able to work to deadlines. For some of your project work you will be client facing and working with real local businesses, so you will need to be able to demonstrate a professional outlook. <br/><br/>The course will prepare you to be a resourceful and innovative business practitioner. You will be given the time to identify your individual specialisms. You will become numerically literate, ethically aware, sensitive to diverse needs, academically robust and fully adaptable. Ultimately, you will be able to be a decision maker able to cope with the rigorous demands of the modern workplace.<br/><br/>This course is taught by Bodmin College and awarded by Falmouth University.
