This course starts each September and is awarded by the University of Surrey. <br/><br/>• This course provides a route into careers related to graphic design, illustration, web design, branding, marketing and more<br/>• Previous placements have included Meanfiddler, Marks & Spencer, Good Empire, Fast Car Magazine, Drum, Zombie Collective and Quad Graphics <br/>• You will have an opportunity to work on live briefs for industry clients <br/>• Taught at University Centre Farnborough, with modern study facilities and access to Adobe software <br/>• Previous guest visits have included graphic designer Dan Mumford who has worked for exciting clients, including Disney, Sony and Iron Maiden<br/><br/>This programme is perfect for those with a creative flair for designing, drawing, web design or photography. We encounter the work of graphic designers every day – on packaging, magazines, books, advertising and online. The ability to explore the different techniques and skills for each of these mediums could lead to a range of interesting careers. <br/><br/>**WHO IS THE PROGRAMME FOR?** <br/>This degree is aimed at students who wish to develop their skills and portfolios to work in the diverse graphic design industry. You might currently be studying a Level 3, A Level, or Access to Higher Education course; be returning to education after a break, or wish to transfer from another higher education institution. It may also be possible for you to join this course in its second or third year following relevant qualifications and/or experience in the workplace.
